From Horticulture to Handicrafts, Island Produce to Home Produce, the creativity from all generations is so diverse, it’s worthy of recognition.

There are plenty of categories for you to enter, so whether you live on the island or are visiting, we welcome all you have to offer!

TUG OF WAR

We are also inviting TIREE to pull together a team to compete for the Tunnell Trophy for an INTER ISLAND TUG OF WAR between Coll & Tiree.

*Under 10s not allowed to compete.

  1. No exhibitor may have more than 2 entries in any one class.
  2. All exhibits must be staged on the day of the show between 9am and 11am and must be labelled with one of the special labels supplied at time of entry. Competitors unable to stage their own exhibits may send them to the committee member on duty for staging, but they will not be accepted unless properly labelled.
  3. No exhibits to be removed from hall until after 4pm. All exhibits to be cleared from hall by 5pm. Any exhibits not collected by 5pm may be disposed of.
  4. In the case of one entry, the award will be at the Judge’s discretion. In all cases the Judge’s decision is final.
  5. In all sections the entries must have been produced, made or grown by the exhibitor. In all cases entries considered by the Judge not to meet these criteria will be disqualified.
  6. An entry which has won 1st prize in a previous year may not be entered again.
  7. Cash prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in Children’s Classes only. No cash prizes for Adult Classes.
  8. Cups will be presented on the day to the winner (for a photograph opportunity) but no longer to be taken home [exception of TNM Visiting Kids Cup & Coll Hotel Trophy]. Cups will be engraved by the show and displayed in the trophy cabinet at An Cridhe.
  9. Anyone wishing to raise an objection to the awarding of any prize on the grounds of the exhibit not being eligible or the class in which it was entered or for any other reason must do so to the Secretary on the day of the show.
